Custom Order (Book Spots - Read Description)

This $1 purchase is for me to keep track of custom orders as they come in. You may purchase a spot for one knife - fixed or folder; and as simple or elaborate as you wish. Once your name comes up on the list I will reach out.

How I do my custom orders:

(1) Once your name comes up, I will reach out and we will thoroughly discuss your build (I.e. available materials I am able to source, the full extent of my current capabilities, etc.).

(2) once we have a mutual understanding of what you envision, I will give you a estimated start and completion time and a total price and ask for a 50% non-refundable deposit immediately prior to start of build and/or ordering materials. (If you request something special like personalization, engraving, sheathwork via a third party, a larger deposit may be required)

(3) I will order everything we have discussed immediately and as soon as I have the materials to begin the build, your build will be my sole focus until it is completed

(4) throughout the build, I will happily send many, many pictures and videos to ensure that your build meets every one of your tastes and preferences.

(5) upon completion I will share with you every aspect of the final product and if you are entirely satisfied with the results, the remainder of the funds are due and I will insure and ship the knife

I’m currently limiting these to roughly 20 spots at a time for the minimum amount ($1) on this platform just to better help keep my records in order. Every maker enjoys “making what I want to make” myself included, but it is very fulfilling to me also to make your vision come to life and my privilege to be asked to be a part of that experience and process with you.

(Side-Note: I reserve the right to approve or deny any requests on custom orders. I would ask that you be at the very least vaguely familiar with the body of my work and my style, design language, etc. I’m all for a challenge to push myself, but just for a couple examples: chances are if you ask me to make a massive sole-authored Damascus cruciform guarded broadsword or something out of an old file or saw blade with a gut-hook on it… that’s probably gonna be a no.)
